Leila Amanpour, Iranian/British, was born in England in 1972, lived in Iran until 1980 and then moved to London.
In 1996, after a short course in photography at the Camberwell School of Art, Leila worked in the editorail department
at Magnum Photos, London. In pursuit of her own work as a photojournalist, Leila moved to South Africa in 2001 and based
in Johannesburg for five years, she covered a wide range of daily life stories in South Africa and throughout the African
Leila's work has been exhibited in Johanesburg and London and was highly recommended in the commonwealth Photographic
Leila is conversationally fluent in English, French and Italian,
